Robins' Class

In Robins Class we love finding out about new things, making the most of the outdoors, creating and exploring. We talk a lot about things we already know and find ways to learn a little bit more. We become proud of our achievements especially when we do things for ourselves for the first time. We build up a tool box of letters, sounds and numbers to help us to do our tasks.

We have really enjoyed the "Sow it, Grow, it, Cook it, Eat it" project afternoons. We planted Beans, took part in the Big Schools Birdwatch and made some delicious recipes. We will continue learning about eating healthily, keeping active and where our food comes from through the rest of the project.
All the recipes we have tried so far are below. Don't forget to let us know if you try them at home!
Our topic for the next half term is "Trading Places: Britain vs Brazil"
Have a look at our topic web for more information...
We had an amazing time at a very muddy Trevaskis farm. We learned lots about how different plants grow and managed not to sink in the mud! Thank you to all the adults who came with us!
We had a fantastic time with Lizzie form Little Kitchen Magicians today. We learned all the skills we need to cook a deliciously healthy pasta sauce. We also learned more about eating healthily and tried the yummy pasta! Lots of us even had seconds!
